Our Initiatives
IGL is committed to the sustainable and integrated development and upliftment of the communities in and around its facilities. The company’s directors and employees contribute time and resources to further the company’s various CSR initiatives.
- Organises medical camps 3 days a week where villagers can avail og medical assistance, free of cost
- Facilitating tree plantation; construction of roads, bridges and drains
- Extends support to victims of victims of monsoon floods
- Promoting sports and socio-cultural activities in the state.
- Actively participates in organising blood donation camps.
- Installing street lamps and hand pumps for drinking water in areas around the company’s facilities.
- Distribution of blankets to poor in winter.
- Supporting the local administration in fighting and managing fire accidents and other disasters that occur in the areas neighbouring its plants
Shravan Kumar Shramik Parivar Religious Tourist Travel Scheme
IGL workers got the first benefit of the scheme ‘Shravan Kumar Shramik Parivar Religious Tourist Travel Scheme’ launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the leadership and guidance of IGL’s business head Shree SK Shukla and India Glycols Ltd, by taking advantage of this scheme again demonstrated that we lead the entire Purvanchal (GIDA Gorakhpur), and also achieved the distiction of becoming the first Yatra to Purvanchal.

Sewing Centers
Under SK Shukla's leadership, two sewing centers were inaugurated with MMU and IGL collaboration. The first phase will train 200 women, and 400 safety jackets were distributed to police personnel.
25000 Trees planted
Guided by Business Head SK Shukla, 25,000 saplings were planted at IGL campus in September. The initiative, initiated by the District Magistrate, concluded under District Forest Officer and Regional Transport Officer.
Shravan Kumar Shramik Parivar Religious Tourist Travel Scheme
IGL has sponsored a faculty position in the Herbal Research and Development Institute, Centre of Aromatic Plants, Dehradun, to promote herbal development in the state of Uttarakhand.
